About Us

My name is Raymond Dye, I’ve been married to my wife Chelsea for 11 years.  I have 3 daughters, Lilly, Gracie, and Cammy. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology.  I am a veteran, an entrepreneur, and a graduate of Second Nature School of Taxidermy.  I currently reside in Cabot, AR with my business located only 10 minutes from my home.sign

My love for the outdoors started at a very young age.  As far back as I can remember I’ve been an outdoorsman.  Whether it’s hunting ducks in the timber, big bucks on a cold November morning, or catching largemouth bass on a top water frog; my passion for the outdoors runs deep in my blood.

At a young age I knew I wanted to be a taxidermist.  Growing up, my father had a buck mounted, and it continuously intrigued me.  As I got older, my desire to learn the art of taxidermy only grew. As a teenager, I did a short apprenticeship with a local taxidermist near my home.  The more time I spent in a taxidermy studio, the greater my ambition grew to become a taxidermist. A few short years later, I attempted my own work in my garage, however, I did not want to be a self-taught, or a fly-by-night taxidermist.  I needed to find a professional, and accredited taxidermy school.

After speaking with many accredited taxidermist, I was encouraged to contact Second Nature School of Taxidermy. After talking with the instructor, I found their professionalism and curriculum exceeded all my expectations, however, I realized I was not where I needed to be financially in order to attend this school.  After diligently saving for a year, I was on my way to Montana to attend taxidermy school.  This experience was everything I thought it would be and more.  It not only prepared me to become a taxidermist, but in addition, a successful businessman.

Shortly after graduating, I returned home and started my own business; True Nature Taxidermy.  I’ve continued to further my education by becoming a member of the Arkansas Taxidermy Association, and by completing numerous other taxidermy training courses.

My goal to you as a customer is, to provide you with exceptional customer service, answer any and all questions you may have, and give you the quality mount you deserve at a fair price with a reasonable turnaround time.
